Networked Learning Communities
Istanbul • New York • Valencia, Spain
This is the backbone of my research, consulting, and development work, exploring educational policy reform to promote the use of topic map and social networking technologies in developing new collaborative learning, accountability and investment strategies at the community level. I am currently working on my PhD. Dissertation at the
UNESCO Chair of Philosophy for Peace Doctoral Program in International Studies in Peace, Conflict and Development at the
University Jaume I in Castellon, Spain. My research aims at developing a business model for providing educational services to a wide range of stakeholders via online social networking and community portals, and explores cases studies in New York City and Istanbul to help act as incubators for service communities throughout the United States and the Middle Eastern region. I am currently seeking financial investment and research partnerships in these areas, with the aim of full deliverable services to these markets within 5 years.

BCID's Special Education Parent Center utilizes community partnerships as the foundation for providing information, training, and technical support to parents and families in neighborhood communities throughout the borough. This collaborative approach will give parents of children with disabilities the opportunity to benefit from information and resources that are essential to becoming meaningfully involved in their children's education. In partnership with
BSNC I will be providing a series of seminars and workshops for parents wanting to develop peer-based social skills play and conversation groups for children and youth with Autism and other communication disorders.
